The Golf Academy welcomes new employee Ryan Church

This week Ryan Church has joined our ever growing team. Ryan is a six handicap golfer member at Oxley Park and is aspiring to become a PGA Professional. Join us in welcoming Ryan to working life at TGA.


 

Great scoring continues into a third consecutive competition at Oxley Park with Division One's winner scoring a one-under-par gross and Division Two's winner just five-over-par gross. G Hall topped Division One with a nett 65, one shot ahead of V Dainty in second with T Reynolds a shot further back in third. Nett 65 was the winning score for Neil Chapman in Division Two (pictured below on the dance floor), three ahead of T Green in second with G Painter third on 69. This was the same score a Craig Jones carded to claim Division Three (pictured centred below), two ahead of  J Faulkner in second. J Will finished third with a nett 72.

Sunday was the last of the Junior Trophy competitions ending with the Chris Dean Trophy. Congratulations to Sam Astle scoring a personal best of three-under-par gross (nett 63) to win by five from  M Chambers in second. Third place went to D Binfield with a nett 74. Sam treated himself to a new jumper and hat with his winnings, his mom said there will be a bit of growing room in them!
