Congratulations to TGA director and PGA professional Craig Fletcher on winning the 1st of the Staffordshire Winter Alliances which was hosted by our very own Oxley Park. Fletch playing with the club captain Rob Eynon, Alan Churn and Tom Wood finished with 1 under par winning by one shot and the team finished in a respectable 5th position.
All the professionals and amateurs participating were extremely complimentary of the course and club and all credit to those involved.
One of our Juniors win Junior Club Championships
Congratulations also goes to Yassine Oakley (pictured above) one out up and coming junior golfers who last weekend was crowned Junior Club Champion at his home club Walsall. Yaz won the Gross competition by 6 strokes.
Craig Thomas in Italy
Craig Thomas doing his bit for European Disabled Golf: last weekend Craig was invited to Italy to take up the role of Tournament Observer for the Italian Disabled Open. Many if you who follow Craig on Facebook may have seen some of the amazing photos and videos taken by Craig of just how good the disabled golfers are.
Craig said, " It was a great opportunity to volunteer for this position and i have had the opportunity to learn more skills and to add more strings to my bow. It is always so inspiring to be around these guys and girls and just how determined and their 'NEVER GIVE UP' attitude. Something that we could all do with learning."
The Last 2015 9 Hole Club Night
Wednesday was the last of the 2015 9 hole club night. Congratulations to Carl Harris who was the overall winner just beating Tom Beardmore by 2 points. A big thank you to Roger Titley who has put so much time and effort into running the club night.
Great to see Carl has used his vouchers to buy his New golf outfit for the Winter.

The great scores continue to come in, last weekend was the Byrne Quinn Cup. Congratulations go to Anthony Jones who was the eventual winner with a fantastic 42 points pipping Gary Denne by just 2 points. Not sure it was wet enough for your umbrella hat.
Midweek Medal
Division 1 - JakeBlount continues his great form shooting his personal best score of Gross 69, 2 under par and a nett score of 64 beating his nearest rival SteveMorgan by 7 shots.

Division 2 - Walsall FC duo JordanCook and KieronMorris fought it out out for top spot.
Jordan prevailed as the clear winner with a gross 82 nett 64 winning by 8 shots.
