"Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" congratulations to Dave Grainger and Steve Morgan winning this year's George Jennings Foursomes Cup in a tightly fought match against Dave Mann and Chris Banks. The match went all the way to the 18th hole where Grainger and Morgan sealed the match (pictured below).

Congratulations to Harry Watton who won both the Committee Cup and Carey Cup and also Daniel Binfield who this week won the Centenary Cup with 40 points. On the subject of juniors, some of you may have seen on our Facebook page (The Golf Academy at Oxley Park) that one of our juniors is doing a fantastic job of how not to do a press-up. You will all be pleased to know that they are in full training and hopefully we will post some improved press-up videos soon. Pictured above are some of our juniors planking.

Range news 

Sadly the nights are now drawing in on us.

The Golf Academy range offers floodlit practice with heaters for the colder evenings. This week we had a few issues with our floodlights which have now been resolved and are fully operational.
