Congratulations to Oxley Park member Paul Tolley who this week found out that he was one of two lucky people to be selected at random to play 18 holes of golf with the internet duo Coach Lockley and Mark Crossfield. Here is the link to show Paul being selected - https://youtu.be/wn0ZQu1gcTs.
We hope you have a great time Paul and don't forget to fly the Oxley Park flag with pride.
TGA staff member and England Golf player from Druids Heath GC, George Clarke, successfully retained the Staffordshire Under 16s title. Held at Sandwell Park GC, George shot rounds of 78+76 in extremely challenging conditions which were proved by the SS score going up to 75 on a par 71. We are very proud to have George as a member of our team (pictured above receiving his prize).
Congratulations also goes to Yaz Oakley who won his Club Championships at Calderfields GC recently. Yaz has worked so very hard on his game over the last 12-18 months and the rewards are starting to show. Great work, Yaz and we're all very proud of you at The Golf Academy.
Spaces still available for a number of Oxley Park Open Competitions including the Men's Pairs in August. Click here for details on all of the upcoming events and to get your entry forms.
Despite the inclement weather conditions on Saturday, Oxley Park members were not put off and judging by the scores the weather didn't put a dampener on the rounds of the winners. Congratulations go to Paul Carmell who won Division One with 42 points playing off a handicap of four. Division Two was topped by Paul Webb who carded 40 points playing off an 11 handicap. Division Three's winner was A Craigie with 41 points off his 19 handicap.
