Last Thursday, The Golf Academy hosted the first of the Oxley Park Scratch and West Midlands Team Training Night with over 25 team members getting together to practice and receive tips from our PGA Professionals. This was also a great opportunity for the members to get to know each other before the season starts.
November saw the introduction of our Employee of the Month award. This award is given to a member of The Golf Academy staff who has shown outstanding performance and has gone the extra mile for both the Academy and its customers.
November's Employee of the Month was Ryan Church who, in his first month working at The Golf Academy, had applied himself to the new role and as a young man showed great maturity within his role. No job was too much and Ryan would embrace any challenge he faced. Congratulations, Ryan, and keep up the great work.
December's Employee of the Month was Brad McGaan. For those of you who don't know Brad, he is the young man who collects our range balls Monday to Friday. Brad is the deserved winner of December's award as despite all the heavy rain, Brad has got on his bike every morning, turned up for work, collected every ball possible and has taken on some new challenges with range maintenance. Doing all to the highest standard. Thank you for keeping our range open during the poor weather and congratulations on your achievement, Brad.
